What are Identifiers?

0 like 0 dislike
Some helpful Identifiers : Identifiers are the things that make the popup or any mIRC scripting work ie $$1 etc.. as you can see in the above  .When you insert this into your popup, make sure there is a space either side of the code ( identifier ) or it will not work. You can find a full list if you type /help identifiers in mIRC.

/me determines the popup as an "action" popup

/say determines the popup as "doing" popup

$$1 Inserts a highlighted nickname in the nicklist into the popup

$2 Inserts a second highlighted name into the popup

$3 Inserts a third highlighted name into the popup

# Inserts the name of the channel you are in

$date Inserts the date

$time Inserts the present time from your time zone

$fulldate Inserts the day time and year

$me Inserts your own nickname into a popup .

you can also use $1- $2- they go from the first to the end, 2nd 3rd, so on and so forth. Or you can call a certain number of them eg: $1-5 will call items 1 through 5
