On Tuesday we left Greenock the girls were sad waving their scarves and we in the high rigging<\/span><\/p>\n

Never before has there been seen such a handsome craft sailing from a harbour<\/span><\/p>\n

When we left the Clyde the north wind was blowing as was usual<\/span><\/p>\n

How pleasant it was to feel her move as she weathered round Alisa Craig<\/span><\/p>\n

Christmas is approaching and with it the New Year<\/span><\/p>\n

My gladness and contentment lies ashore on the Isle of Man<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ll (instead) be grieved in the Admiral’s room<\/span><\/p>\n
